CAIRO, June 25 (MENA) - President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has greeted Egyptian Muslim expatriates on the new Hijri year 1447.

In a cable of greetings published on the social media pages of all Egyptian embassies and consulates, President Sisi wished Egyptian nationals abroad prosperity in the new Hijri year, voicing hope that Egypt would achieve further progress and stability.

Thursday, June 26, marks the first day of Muharram, the first month of the Islamic calendar. (MENA)
