CAIRO, June 19 (MENA) – Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli held a meeting on Thursday to ensure the continued availability of essential medicines and medical supplies across Egypt, aiming to support stable healthcare services.
The meeting was attended by Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Finance Minister Ahmed Kouchouk, the heads of the Egyptian Drug Authority and the Unified Procurement Authority, along with officials from related agencies.
Officials reviewed efforts to support local production of medical supplies in cooperation with international companies.
They also addressed securing funding for the procurement authority to continue supply operations and pay outstanding dues to suppliers. (MENA)
