BAGHDAD, May 14 (MENA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration, and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty said the Arab region faces severe threats that no country can manage alone, stressing the importance of Arab solidarity to protect regional security.
During a joint press conference with his Iraqi and Jordanian counterparts in Baghdad, Abdelatty clarified that the tripartite cooperation mechanism reflects a joint desire to advance practical collaboration.
The talks included proposed projects in agriculture, telecommunications, electricity, transportation, and logistics, with an agreement to assign technical teams to set clear execution plans.
Abdelatty reaffirmed that the Palestinian issue remains central, stating that peace and stability cannot be achieved without a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue.
He also called for a return to the January 19 ceasefire agreement in Gaza, brokered through Egyptian, Qatari, and US coordination. (MORE)
