DAMANHOR, Egypt, June 14 (MENA) - Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly visited Wadi El-Natrun Specialized Hospital as part of his visit to Beheira governorate on Saturday.
The premier was accompanied by Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, the Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development and Minister of Health and Population, Manal Awad, the Minister of Local Development, Alaa Farouk, the Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, and Jacklin Azar, the Governor of Beheira.
Abdel Ghaffar made a presentation on the health map for Beheira, explaining that the governorate has 75 hospitals with a total of 5,418 beds, including 865 intensive care beds for both adults and children. The governorate also has 32 blood banks for adults and children, 274 operation rooms, and 774 incubators for newborns.
The minister also briefed Madbouly about state-run hospitals in Beheira, reviewing successful projects and achievements made in the governorate, thanks to presidential health initiatives during the period from July 2024 to May 2025. (MENA)
