CAIRO, May 13 (MENA) – Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli has emphasized the government’s keenness to get acquainted with various viewpoints as regards the implementation of the new export burden rebate program in a way that helps meet the export community's aspirations and contributes to boosting exports.
Madbouli made the remarks as he chaired a meeting on Tuesday with members of the advisory committee for export development, in the presence of Minister of Industry and Transport Kamel el Wazir, Deputy Minister of Finance Yasser Sobhi, and Assistant Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade for Planning, Development and Digital Transformation Mohamed el Gouski, among other officials from a number of ministries.
During the meeting, the prime minister talked about his previous meeting with the committee members which saw a number of proposals related to some export sectors as well as the requests presented regarding the spinning, weaving and ready-made garments industry.
He noted that those requests were focused on providing land for this industry.
During the meeting, the committee members submitted a number of requests and proposals to be included in the new export support program. (MENA)
