MOSCOW, May 8 (MENA) - Russian President Vladimir Putin Thursday received Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on the sidelines of a dinner held at the Kremlin to mark Victory Day.

Putin is hosting a dinner in honor of the heads of foreign delegations participating in Victory Day commemorations. This year's Victory Day marks the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II.

On Friday morning, a military parade will take place on Red Square in the heart of the Russian capital, after which the heads of foreign delegations will head to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Alexandrovsky Garden for a wreath-laying ceremony.

Sisi is set to meet with Putin on Friday evening. (MENA)
