RAMALLAH, July 8 (MENA) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has condemned ongoing incitement campaign by ministers in the Israeli occupation government against the Palestinian people.

In a statement carried out Tuesday by the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), the ministry denounced Israeli practices meant to deepen gradual annexation of the West Bank, acts of genocide in the Gaza Strip and providing cover for settler attacks and terrorist groups targeting Palestinians.

The ministry said the occupation government is entrenching an apartheid system that violates Palestinian rights, imposes more collective punishment, and carries out various forms of abuse and oppression- while failing to take any action to stop settler violence and terrorism against the Palestinian people, the statement read.

The ministry called for international measures and reactions commensurate with what the Palestinian people are facing, it added.

The statement further demanded that the occupation government should be forced to halt all its illegal unilateral measures and respect its obligations as an occupying power under international law and the Geneva Conventions, including imposing deterrent sanctions on settler gangs and organizations, and the individuals committing crimes and assaults against Palestinian citizens.
