CAIRO, June 14 (MENA) – Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli visited the “Bahrawia Workshop” in Zawiyat Saqr, Abu Matamir, part of the “Decent Life” initiative.
The facility, held by the Beheira governorate and the National Council for Women, offers rural women training in sewing, pattern-making, copper work, fabric painting, ceramics, and model crafting.
For her part, Beheira Governor, Jacqueline Azer, noted that each workshop accommodates 15 participants and includes sessions on entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and family guidance.
Trainees praised the training and said that it would improve their income and living standards.
During the visit, Madbouli instructed officials to distribute workshop-produced goods across Egypt and expand online sales to improve product reach. (MENA)
