CAIRO, June 13 (MENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration, and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty held bilateral talks on Friday with his German counterpart Johann Wadephul, who is currently visiting Cairo.

The two ministers chaired an expanded round of discussions attended by senior officials from both sides.

The talks covered distinguished relations between Cairo and Berlin and explored ways to further strengthen cooperation across various fields.

The discussions also addressed key regional and international files of mutual concern, with a particular focus on the situation in the Gaza Strip.

A joint press conference is scheduled to be held following the talks. (MENA)
