CAIRO, May 24 (MENA) – Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli opened a new headquarters of the Egyptian Ambulance Organization in Hadayek October, during a ceremony marking 123 years since ambulance services began in Egypt.
The new facility includes a national call center operating 24/7 to receive emergency and non-emergency calls via the 123 hotline. Calls are routed to ambulances based on real-time location and availability using an automated dispatch system.
A new mobile interface links ambulances with dispatch units using tablets, thus improving coordination and response.
The visit also marked the launch of the "Es3afny" mobile app, which allows users to request non-urgent ambulance services, track vehicles, view costs, and submit complaints or suggestions. (MENA)
