CAIRO, March 27 (MENA) - The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) decided to suspend work in all banks operating in Egypt from Sunday, March 30, 2025 until Tuesday, April 1, 2025 on the occasion of Eidul Fitr as work would resume Wednesday morning.

In a statement Thursday, the CBE said if the sighting of the crescent of the month of Shawwal 1446 AH confirmed that Monday, March 31, 2025 is the first day of the month of Shawwal, 1446 AH, the vacation will be extended until Wednesday, April 2, 2025. In this case, work will resume in all banks on Thursday, April 3, 2025. (MENA)
