ATHENS, May 7 (MENA) - President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met on Wednesday with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis in the Greek cabinet's headquarters on Wednesday as part of his current visit to the Greek capital Athens.

The talks will tackle ways of boosting bilateral relations on all fronts and the latest regional and international issues of mutual concern. Both sides will exchange viewpoints regarding such pressing issues.

President Sisi will chair the Egyptian side to the first meeting of the High-Level Cooperation Council between Egypt and Greece with the participation of the Greek premier, who will lead the Greek side to this important gathering.

The council meeting will discuss ways of promoting and developing bilateral ties in the various fields, with an emphasis on the fields of energy, trade exchange and economic cooperation.

The visit will see the signing of a Joint Declaration regarding the "distinguished" strategic partnership between the two countries and a number of memorandums of understanding to foster cooperation in issues of joint interest. (MENA)
